Accessing Further Education Or University

Another, vital service provides help with UCAS forms which must be submitted and often ends with face to face negotiations with individual institutions in order to find post-school places for students. This is particularly the case with those young people with grades below the required levels for further study. ‘Clearing’ (a period of new applications for vacant places open to those who did not reach the necessary points for their chosen places) is a very busy time for Ellis Education. Over the last few years places have been negotiated at Dundee, Aberdeen, Strathclyde, Warwick and Newcastle Universities for students short of the required entrance points. If you fear there is the possibility exams have not gone as expected, then get in touch before or at that point so as to ensure that on the day ‘Clearing’ begins, Ellis Rankin and associates are sitting by a bank of phones and computers pleading cases to gain alternate spaces.

Perhaps the points for university entrance fell far short. Is there an alternate route? Yes, there are several ways in which to access the system via college courses which then ‘feed’ into university ones. Prior college applications are not always required, so do get in touch to see if the desired outcome may still be gained, simply through other channels. As both a university lecturer and a college lecturer of many years standing, Ellis Rankin can navigate routes other cannot.
